There’s lots of green lawns, two free car parks, lagoons reclaimed from former wasteland, and new benches throughout. I was here yesterday and there were lots of families about: walking, feeding the swans. In fact, I heard on the radio that these hills - one with a slowly spiralling footpath for those who need a more leisurely ascent - were constructed from dirt removed from the Wembley Stadium site during its renovation a few years ago. Not a spectacular park, and not worth travelling across town for, but worth a stop if you’re heading out the A40.
