The photo was taken at our local wildlife park, i was just leaving the bird encloser and this bird was just sitting there so it took a series of photos before it moved and this one is the best of them.Time
i would need to check the photo for the correct time but i would say it would have been around 2pm.Lighting
i do remember the day and the weather conditions well ( the team i follow was playing in the grand final and my wife makes me go out so i don't get upset if we are losing ) it would have been early spring and it was a clear day with a temp of about 25c.Equipment

Nothing inspired me to take this photo it was a great chance to take photo of this bird while it was happy to sit there and let me. As we all no birds don't keep still and it hard to take photos of them.Editing
only a small amount of dehaze in light room and that was it.In my camera bag
at the time i took this photo only the two lenses that came with the camera, now i have added to my kit the following 70-300 lense i have two of these love this lense ,10-24 wide angle lense , macro lense, portrait lense, 300-500 super zoom ,18-55 lense. nikon d3200 body. nikon d3000 body. 2 tripods , one monopod , and a number of lense filters.Feedback
the only thing i can say when trying to take photos of birds is be patient and i always have my camera set to auto and mulity shoot function. this may not be the correct way to take this type of photo but it works for me.
