The photo was taken on a lake located in neighborhood park in Blue Ridge in Houston TXTime
I like to wait and see the sun down almost everyday that I get a chance, I wait around 5pm when the sun start slowly to move down and bringing those beautiful tones of colors. During that time that I wait I get my equipment ready and trying different setting to check I get the correct tones and lighting that I want. This image was taken on August 31, 2014 around 6:30pmLighting
For me I always get there little early do adjust my setting and my composition before the sunset. I wait until the sun goes little down that brings those beautiful colors the pink, red, magenta, orange color fading in to enigmatic blue. At that time I have the right exposure and take 2 shoots with different exposure.Equipment
For this shoot I use my Canon 70D with a 18-135 f/3.5 lensInspiration
What inspire me about this photo is the colors and the reflection in the water. It just reminds me how peaceful and beautiful nature is. it was one of those day that so relaxing quiet day with a nice weather and beautiful sundown.Editing
For my post processing for this image I really didn’t do much I just adjust brightness and contrast and bump up the saturation to bring those color more and I like the result it give me.In my camera bag
On my bag I always carry light all I bring is my canon 70D my two lens the 18-135mm and the 100-300mm lens. I try not to use the tripod so I always leave that in the car.Feedback
