Taken during the Bastrop County Complex fire where almost 40,000 acres, 1600 homes and structures and 2 state parks were destroyed. It was the most devastating wildfire ever to happen in Texas. It burned for over a month. I talked my way past two roadblock to get to the firefighters taking breaks. I was allowed to take pictures :)
