Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in my studio in the midlands

Time

I did this shoot in the late afternoon on a Sunday.

Lighting

I used a black current and very low lighting for this shot. I used 2 lights and placed them each side of the model.

Equipment

I used my Nikon D300 with my trusty 28-300mm Sigma Lens.

Inspiration

I was looking for a soft B&W photo with a little bit of colour.i wanted a photo to stand out from the crowd. I played around with my lighting and camera settings until I was happy with my shot.

Editing

I used photoshop to do a little colour popin.

In my camera bag

Well I have my Nikon D3X and my D800 with my Sigma 12-24, 28-300, 50-500 and my ND Filters and polarised Filters.

Feedback

Think about what you want from your photo shoot. Talk to your model and work together to get the shot your after.
