"Horizons Version 2"- a landscape image that stimulates the mind, with its warm tones of oranges and reds bounded by its own frame of horizontal dark bands of clouds in the sky above and reflected on the water below. "Horizons Version 2" was shot on June 22, 2014 during daybreak. Shooting location was The Big Marsh located in Butler County Iowa. This image was made spectacular by means of torrential rains and passing storm clouds that morning, transforming this Iowa oasis of waterfowl into a lake.
The Big Marsh contains 5000 acres of marsh land operated by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
