Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in late spring; Cody, Wyoming, *52 miles east of Yellowstone National Park, east gate.

Time

This was a sunset pic; evening, about just after 7:30 pm

Lighting

No, I don't think so. I didn't want to waste a second of this image so it was a point and shoot situation.

Equipment

I was using a Nikon Cool Pix for this picture. No tripod, no flash, automatic setting.

Inspiration

When the light began changing in the house thru the open curtains, I grabbed my camera and ran outside. I had to see the sunset show!

Editing

None at all

In my camera bag

A simple automatic Nikon or my Fuji. Point and shoot!

Feedback

Everywhere there is photo ops ... look around! My favorite phrase is "now that's a pic!" ... Sometimes my husband barely has the truck stopped as I'm jumping out to take a picture of 'something'. Colors, clouds ... they change each and every second! For every one "GREAT" ... you take 100 mediocre. Be patient and diligent in your quest!
