This photo of mine was chosen to be exhibited in the Photo Exhibition of Babakan Siliwangi that will be held this weekend. Babakan Siliwangi is a city forest that’s declared as World City Forest by UNEP on 2011. Unfortunately, the management of this forest is given to private company, and there’s a plan to change 20% of the forest into restaurant (or some other commercial building).

Our local communities are trying to prevent that by organizing events in Babakan Siliwangi. This time the big event is called “Regia”. It’s 2 days event filled with so many activities like photo exhibition, yoga in the forest, picnic in the forest, workshops and games for kids, and others.

Save the forest, save the city.
