Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on the beach Playa Pillar on Cato Guillermo Cuba at the time of the photo there was no surrounding hotel buildings I’m an amateur photographer and I’d just bought a new camera so we decided to go in an adventure exploring the wild coastal areas of the island - it was a very hot day and felt very Robinson cruso! Which became the inspiration for this shot

Time

The photo was taken late afternoon

Lighting

I wanted to tell the tale of the feeling of the heat and the atmosphere of being alone on the beach

Equipment

This photo was taken with a Pentax k70 200 mm

Inspiration

I wanted to capture the Robinson cruso feel of being on a deserted beach

Editing

No absolutely not - all my photos are taken as I see them I never edit anything

In my camera bag

Always my Pentax k70 with usually a standard 200mm lens I always carry a spare memory card and a brush to clean any sand particles or dust as I’m usually out and about in the wild with my camera so it gets exposed to the elements

Feedback

Cuba has amazing light and keep everything natural
