Pronounced 'Sis-schwa', either from the French for 'only choice' or an older Native American word meaning 'straight line'. Opened in 1892 and automated in 1972. Near Gulliver, Michigan on Lake Michigan in the Upper Peninsula. The building is said to be haunted, though I did not have any such experience while there.
