This is a photo I took while out for a walk with my camera course it was a time we were getting use to using different thing with our lenses. Like this photo i put a blue filter on the lens and this is straight from the camera no photo shop. I also used the tripod.Time
Not sure on the exact time but it was late afternoon as we were coming to the end of the trip out it was about 4pm on a Saturday. I was sat watching what was going on and also looking in my camera bag to see how i could do a different kind of photo without having to use photo shop and i came across my pack of filters and just had a play and you can see one of the photos i did 'Lighting
The only thing i can say about the whole day is make sure the sun is behind you if you dont want any shadows but i have learned from that day use what is around you and play with your settings as you can do some amazing photos and never delete till you have looked at each one on the computerEquipment
In my camera bag I carry a few lenses a flash (witch up to now have never used) filters tripod and lens wipes (they are my glasses wipes but if its windy i have used them on my camera)but always have you lens cloth in your bag. plus i always have a bottle of water and a little snack as i sometimes forget about time and feel hungry and thirsty. If i am out in the woods i usually have some bird food so i can put some down then move away to were i can see and get my camera ready on the tripod and shoot away.Inspiration
I dont have one thing that inspired me too take this photo it was a case i like the spot were i sat and this photo was one of many but the end result of what i liked about the whole place. To be honest i had done a few photos and thought they need something to make it pop and i played around with filters and loved how the blue filter just lifted the look of the river and all the people i showed it to in class the week after loved it and i felt like i had done a good photo and was so proud as i was only just thinking of what my nikon D100 could do but i needed to see how to use itEditing
the only thing i have done to the photo is crop it what you see is how it came from the camera that is why i was proud as everyone who looked at it the week after in class thought i had photo shopped it but i showed them the one on the camera plus the one i had printed and they were shacked as i said i could not use my camera very well but it goes to show if you pay around with your cameras you will get good shots.In my camera bag
in my camera bag i carry the camera with a lens then i have a few lenses i also have a pack of filters i clip my tripod to the outside of my bag i also have plenty of my glasses wipes but i have my lens cloth a few batteries that are fully charged also more memory cards and some money for a brew and a sandwich as we never know how long you will be out with your cameraFeedback
Always have fun if its not fun give up for the day. make sure you have at least enough money on you for a drink and a sandwich to get this shot i play around with filters for over two hours
