Behind The Lens

Location

Battery Spencer on the north side of the Golden Gate

Time

approximately 0730

Lighting

The light was nicely diffused by the fog

Equipment

Canon 5D mk II, f/20, 1/160 sec. iso-100, -0.3 step

Inspiration

I love taking shots of the bridge and the fog. Each shot is a surprise because the light and fog change so quickly

Editing

I converted this shot to b/w and bumped the contrast and clarity a bit

In my camera bag

I carry a 5d mk II, a 7d mk II, 24-105 L, 70-200 L II, nifty 50, speedlight 580x, various filters

Feedback

As I mentioned before conditions change rapidly so be patient. If you dont see the shot you want, wait a few minutes. If you want fog in your shot, mornings and evening are best.
