This photo is not made from the other photo also listed on this page. I came back to the bridge on another day and took more pictures with color film. This was done with black and white film.

Location
This photo was taken in downtown Findlay, Ohio. It is a pedestrian bridge that crosses the Blanchard River just East of the Main Street Bridge. As you look at photo, you are looking North across the bridge.Time
This Photo was taken in the evening.Lighting
The sky was overcast that day, and only natural lighting was used in the photo. I have not used a flash yet in any of my photos.Equipment
I have not had access to my cameras in many years, and I can not wait to be able to get to them once again to take more pictures. I have a couple different cameras that I used, and i regret to say I do not remember which camera was used to take this photo. I did not use a tripod, no flash. Tri X black and white film.Inspiration
This photo was an assignment for my photography class at the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio. The topic was for syncopation. I felt that the design of the bridge as well as how the leaves were on the bridge it would make an awesome photo for the assignment. It looks like I was right.Editing
The roll of film and the print was developed by hand at the University of Findlay in the Dark Lab there. It was a fun and exciting experience to learn about developing negatives and photos in a dark room.In my camera bag
2 cameras, Many different lenses, filters, shutter release cable.Feedback
If you think a picture may be worth taking of an object, try it and experiment with different settings. You may end up taking a gem of a photo. Have fun snapping pictures!
