This shot was taken in the Swamp Walk at Gatorland which is one of my favorite places to go. I've had an annual pass here for at least the last 25 years. During Spring the birds are nesting and I love watching the nesting, hatching, and growing of the chicks. Getting to hear the gators bellowing during mating season is amazing.Time
This photo was taken probably around 11 am. I have a habit of first walking through the breeding marsh and checking out the nests and listening for the gators and then head into the swamp walk to look for small birds and snakes.Lighting
I looked up and the beauty of the trees, clouds, and sun just made my day, so I felt I just needed to click.Equipment
