This was taken at Richmond Park in Surrey around September. This was the rutting season, so deer move freely around the park .Time
I took this photo around September. Late afternoon. There we're not a lot of people around that area and for some reason this one moved away from the herd puts on a show for my camera .Lighting
This was taken late afternoon so the sun was not too harsh and there was lot of trees that served as a shade where this photo was taken.Equipment
I have a canon 5D MK II and used a 70-200mm canon lens. This was taken handheld. I am an amateur/hobbyist photographer, but i go out and about a lot to practise my skills.Inspiration
I've seen a few photos of deer that has a very strong approach. so I wanted to see them in a different light.Editing
I am a newbie in photography and in post processing.. I was reading about this article on dreamy effect on landscape .... So I kinda tried that on this photo, i wanted to see a very light , very airy almost dreamy, delicate effect on the photograph. In my camera bag
I've got a 70-200 which i used on this photo. I've got 24-70 which is more often than not, connected to my camera .Feedback
Richmond Park in Surrey is a natural reserve, it's famous for herds of deer and fallow deer. It's also good to know the rutting and the birthing season to get a nice set of photos.
