Unloveable

A random quote from a random girl appeared on my news feed a month ago, lamenting how no photographer wanted to work with her . She is not your average model, covered in beautiful artwork, thick in the thighs and chunky in the right places. A natural beauty in the conventional sense she is not, but a creative soul maybe. But why did no one want to work with her? Maybe she was a quiet introvert, or such a disgusting personality that forced people away from her? No, I had met her before and she was pleasant. Far from uninteresting, she took directions well and if it were not for her I would still be on the wall for photography as she was the one who pulled me out of my shell to start a shoot. So if it wasn't her inside of her personality that had prevented her from being a model photographers want, it must be her outside.Something I don't see, how a dame as Miranda could be rejected. Is beauty really in the eye of the beholder? When I saw her post it reminded me of the girl who thought she was unlovable. The painter of the the second image, done after a breakup. No one seemed interested in pursuing a relationship with her as she was a rather unique soul, and she felt depressed about life. Was she that hideous that she drove men away? Was her personality so dark that men saw it from a mile away and stayed clear? I think not because the artist is my friend, girlfriend, fiancée and more than a year later we are still going strong. I cannot fathom why anyone could not love her as she loved, nor why anyone would allow another soul to feel unloved. Both girls are beautiful in their own right, so why must they wait for that one person to see them as they are? Now, I am not the hero in this story. I, too deemed myself unlovable. My road was different but the destination was the same. I know how it feels to be unloved or unwanted - from the no replies from models to being single up until the point I asked my fiance out. No one really batted an eye towards my general direction but same as I took a chance on them, they took a chance on me
