I love how you exposed for the sky. In my opinion, a well exposed sky with lots of detail either makes or brakes the image. Having a sky that is too powerful is a concern, but not as much as an unexposed or poorly exposed sky. In this image, you nailed it! That's of course, only my opinion, which should be taken with a few truckloads of salt. If you like a shot, that's all that matters, unless you are getting paid for said image(s), in that case expose how the clients like, even if it bothers the hell out of you ;) .
