Location

This photo was taken at the San Diego Zoo.

Time

It was sometime in the afternoon, under some trees.

Lighting

I like to shoot in natural light the majority of the time. Find a shaded area, or shoot closer to the morning or evening when the sun isn't too harsh.

Equipment

This image was shot with a Nikon D60.

Inspiration

I really loved the colors of the birds and these two were having their own moment together while the rest flew around trying to find people with nectar cups.

Editing

Just a little bit of contrast and saturation. Then some sharpening.

In my camera bag

Now, I have a Nikon D7000 with a 50mm attached to it most of the time.
