Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was taken in the cemetery at Harrisville, a little country town not far from Ipswich, Queensland.Time
It was taken just before sunset.Lighting
I liked the way the golden tones from the sun setting spread over the mountains and field in front of me.Equipment
I used my Nikon D5200, with a Tamron 18-270 mm lens. The settings I used were iso 100, aperture f/3.5 & exposure 1/320. Normally I would use a tripod as I don't have a steady hand. The day I took this photo my back & neck were sore, so I had swapped my regular strap for the Jobi strap. I was surprised this photo came out as fantastic as it did.Inspiration
I was inspired by the peacefulness of the country side. I live, work & study in busy areas and it was nice to be able to shrug off the stress of a busy life.Editing
I rarely do much post processing after taking photos. With this photo the adjusted the contrast, lowered the saturation and lightened the shadows to bring out more detail. In my camera bag
My camera bag normal consists of my camera (D5200) & lens (Tamron 18-207 mm), as well as a standard kit (Nikon 18-55 mm) lens. I also have a cordless remote trigger, spare battery & memory card, note pad & pen & a few first aid items. I often forget to pack cleaning cloths for the lens', however my husband is thorough enough to have those in his bag.Feedback
For me (like many others) photography is a hobby. If I don't quite get the shot I want first visit to that area, I try again next time. My husband & I spend a lot of time revisiting the same areas as you can see something new & different each visit.
