Inspiration

I was not able to go to bed because of the loud thunders and I when i looked out the window there were flash of lightning light up the entire area. I decided to do a multiple shots over a period of 30 mins.

Editing

22 photos where merged together in Photoshop to get this image.

In my camera bag

D800, Tokina F4 17-35mm, Tamron f2.8 24-70 and Tamron f2.8 70-200. Couple of extra memory cards and extra battery

Feedback

A darker environment especially if you can find a reflecting surface like a lake would be ideal. But keep in mind to carry a rain gear for your equipment.
