Too much depth of field here. You want the foreground to be blurred as much as the background so the focus is on your couple. Before creating this portrait, it would have been a good idea to cut any brush that was above their wait lines. I fear your auto focus may have landed on a cat-o-nine tails just in front of them rather than on them.
