Behind The Lens

Location

Hi it was taken in the cheviot hills Northumberland united kingdom on a day hike we love these hills as they are so beautiful and peaceful

Time

It was early lunchtime around about 12.30 pm

Lighting

No the natural light did everything it was just perfect timing

Equipment

The photo was taken with a canon sx 40 hs no tripod flash or other

Inspiration

Fen my border collie is such a stunning dog the scenery itself is stunning so they complimented each other

Editing

No post processing was done on the photo it just happened to be the perfect shot!!

In my camera bag

Camera obviously, spare battery, spare sd card and my monopod.

Feedback

The weather in the united kingdom is very changeable but even more so in the Cheviot hills so its best to take waterproofs, decent hiking boots a thermos flask and food you do not have to walk far before you come across amazing scenery but we love to get high so a climb is in order to get spectacular views like this one it was a deliberate ploy to have fen so sharp in the foreground and the background blurred you can still see the beauty of the countryside behind fen my border collie I was looking for a depth of field in the photo which really paid off.
