Location
I was on the riverboat Discovery out of Fairbanks, AK. And they had several demonstrations and the float plane was one of them.Time
It was a little after noon if I remember. And I made sure the sun didn't wash out my photo.Lighting
I was on the left side of the boat on the middle deck. In a place I figured would give me the best lighting.Equipment
I used my Nikon D80 and hand held it as there was not enough room to set up all my equipment.Inspiration
I like airplanes and the opportunity presented itself and I couldn't pass up the opportunity.Editing
I used Picasa to set the colors a little brighter.In my camera bag
My camera , lenses,several filters,and cleaning cloths,along with a tripod if it can be used.Feedback
It is difficult to photograph something moving so I had to figure out the right lead of the plane so that it came out in focus and not blurry.
