Behind The Lens

Location

So, this photo was taken in my home at home (just because I'm travelling a lot...so I get the chance to have many homes), it's my beloved cat, eight years old now.

Time

Photo was taken off tripod, late in the evening, somewhere about 9PM. Usually, Alis (the cat), was very playfull at this time in the evening...so I had so many chances of getting something good.

Lighting

Most of my photography is made from the camera. So, no effects, not too much after work in software. The light here is just normal warm bulb light. The special thing is the blanket which creates the shadows.

Equipment

So, this photo was made with my old Canon EOS 20D with a fixed 50mm lens, an old Karl Zeiss with adapter.

Inspiration

Knowing how playfull these moments were, I was prepared every time to take one or two photos. So, I just started the games and after waited for the right moment.

Editing

So, I'm a big fan of ready-out-of-the-box-photography. So, no post-processing. But I'm open to try it sometimes in the future.

In my camera bag

So, now I have a Canon EOS 50D and a standard Canon 17-85mm IS lens. With this, two 50mm old lenses, a Carl Zeiss. Also a Tamron 70-300mm with close up function.
