Great shot of the sea gulls.
See all

Behind The Lens

Location

At blustery grey ol' day at Folkestone harbor.

Time

Around mid afternoon

Lighting

The sky was grey but very light, giving brilliant contrast to the seagulls.

Equipment

It was only on my trusty pocket camera. Praktica DZ 5.8 5 mega pix.

Inspiration

The contrast between the bright grey sky and the birds.

Editing

Just cropped it by a third.

In my camera bag

A Fuji 14 mp bridge camera and my pocket praktica.

Feedback

Never be afraid (in bright light) to just "take the shot". It may not be perfect, but if your lucky you'll catch the moment.you can always try a slice of bread .
