Location
This picture was taken in our garage. Our car was parked further down the driveway getting a wash so Tiger was running around checking out his new home. All of a sudden he came near me and just sat down looking up at me holding the camera.Right after I took the picture, he got up and went back to exploring. What a Ham!!Time
I remember that it was late in the afternoon/early evening, sometime around 6 p.m.Lighting
The only light that was used came from the camera's flash and whatever natural lighting was left.Equipment
Surprisingly enough the only equipment I used was a Sanyo 5X 14 megapixel basic digital camera that I bought on Craig's List for $40. I do have a real love for photography but NO experience or "real" equipment. This camera has been good to me (mostly) so as long as I feed it fresh batteries,it gives me pretty good pictures.Inspiration
I wanted to take a picture of our "Tiger" on his first day home. My husband and son discovered him for sale at a feed store. He was kept in a chicken coop type cage and that made my son upset! Of course, they "JUST HAD TO RESCUE HIM" even though we already had 2 dogs and weren't supposed to have any more pets. They offered to buy him from the owner and he agreed. Naturally, when the guys came home and I saw the puppy,up went the pressure, but before I could say anything, they told me the story and suddenly my anger subsided and now he ours, safe and sound!Editing
nope. I wanted to crop it a little, but kept messing it up so I just left it alone. In my camera bag
I try to make sure I always have my basic Sanyo digital camera,(until I can afford to get something better).Feedback
All I can say is go with your gut! Always have a camera in reach, and if you see something that catches your eye, grab your camera and shoot. Then hope the camera sees what you saw.I don't have the credibility to be giving advice on these things. I just go for it! ....HAPPY SNAPPING!!....
