This was on a bridge in Gatlinburg, TN looking at towards The Old Mill Inn.Time
My family and I were were walking around the streets on vacation around 9PM during October. We stopped on the bridge to take in this nice view and I decided to snap several photos.Lighting
Lucky for me in this shot the area is very well lit by street lights and additional lightning behind the trees.Equipment
This was shot with a Nikon D5000, used a 18-55mm lens and was able to use the bridge railing to balance my camera.Inspiration
I was walking with my family on vacation and was interested in vacation photos. When we came to this i couldn't pass up taking a picture of the mill and waterfall.Editing
Didn't do any post processing of this photo.In my camera bag
The only equipment i ever carry with me is my Nikon D5000, Nikkor 18-55mm and 55-300mm VR lenses.Feedback
Don't be afraid to try from multiple angles and locations. When this was taken i Went under the bridge and multiple spots on the bridge. Also play with with camera settings for each shot.
