Behind The Lens
Location
I took it on Livingston Mountain in Camas, Washington. I was waiting for the bus on the way to school.Time
I lived way out in the country so by default I was up before the sun. This day was a late-start so I was up a little later than usual. It was so beautiful I had to share the moment.Lighting
I had my camera pointed directly at the sun. It takes a little manuevuring to capture the light in an even focal point.Equipment
I used my iPhone 4S camera. No flash, extra lens, or tripod. It was point and shoot.Inspiration
It's always hard to capture the lightness in nature, especially in the mornings. The sun through the trees creates a humble ambiance. It's hard to capture the sunlight and its' aurora but I'm glad I tired and that it turned out well.Editing
No I didn't use any filters. In my camera bag
I always, always have an extra battery pack especially for when I'm outside and the temperature it super cold. I also make sure to have enough storage and delete my pictures off my sim card before going out and shooting for the day.Feedback
If it looks good to you, definitely try to capture it, if not at least you tried and you learned something for next time.
