Any chance of using natural light diffused by the setting or rising sun, especially with a water feature, is hard to go wrong with, landscape, macro, time lapse, portraits, it's flattering and creates gorgeous images.Equipment

It was my youngest daughters 2nd birthday. Hours of taking shots of kids playing on monkey bars, I wanted a subject that didn't move. And I didn't know when I'd get another chance to be at that lake at the perfect time again.Editing
This was hdr, processed in Photomatix and touched up in Adobe photoshop. I love hdr and focus stacking, both can require a lot of time to produce exactly what you have in mind. There's a fine line between pop and over saturated. In the 2 years since this photo my ability and style has changed quite a bit.In my camera bag
I have an olympus om d em 10 mark II with the 14-42 mm kit lens and 50-140 kit, nikon d3100, 50 mm nikkor prime, 70-300 Sigma zoom, and the kit lens. Full cokin p set of square filters, ND 2-19, graduated ND and graduated one stop color filters, polarizer, tiffin and Hoyas, and a variable ND and gnd. Install a weather app. Plan ahead if possible and always keep basic gear with you. Some of my favorite photos were taken because I accidentally saw a photo opportunity.
