My uncle Scott and I often travel together to get great shots of the Northwest. This shot was atop the Sleeping Beauty lookout near Trout Lake, Washington. In the background, Mt. Adams can be seen. We setup to get various shots of the surrounding mountains, St. Helens, Adams, Hood, and to get the Perseid Meteor shower. It as a great evening atop the lookout. We left about 2:30 am.
