Behind The Lens
Location
I live in Oviedo Florida, USA. I took this photo in front my house. At night, I park my car in my driveway. This picture is taken over my car roof. I usually tell people my mobile studio.Time
This is photo is taken early morning. Exact time is 07:36:53 am. July 26 2014.Lighting
I used here early morning sun light which is favorite.Equipment
I used my veteran Nikon D90. Lens Nikon 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED AF-S VR Micro. Did not use any tripod and flash. Used only morning sunlight. I just collected a piece of dry wood stick. Background shade came from a palm tree branch.Inspiration
I used to do landscape. When I saw some pictures of Kutub Uddin Macro Man, I became a fan of him. Journey started from there. Now whenever I get some extra time, I just play with my Micro lens. I love it to use my fabulous Micro lens.Editing
Yes I did a light touch on Flickr. I did a little change of brightness and sharpness. In my camera bag
Nikon D90, Nikon Lens 18-300 mm, Nikon 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED AF-S VR Micro, Extension tube, Some filters. Also I keep 1/2 pieces lens cleaning napkin.Feedback
Working with the snail is easy but not that easy. After working few days you might get their attitude. I usually work with four snails. Not all of them move on same time. Most of the time one came out first from the shell. Then the next. Who ever come first, work with that one. When the first one become slow moving switch to the other. They are touch sensitive by their antenna (Tentacle, Eyes). So movement is very easy to control. If anyone has interest to work with the Snail just try. If you seed any snail for your photography, I can share some from my garden.
