I was on a family trip with the children at London Zoo, Regents Park. I visit often, and am always on the lookout for that special subject. This day it was Effie.Time
probably about lunch time, can't be sure took lots of photos throughout the day.Lighting
For me natural lighting is so important. Although i like to edit to give me the effects you see in this picture the subject in good natural light to start with is my favorite starting point.Equipment
Nikon D40X. I took it several years ago and couldn't tell you which lens, but it would have a mid range.Inspiration
I love to think of animals a people and this to me has such a human feeling. She certainly liked to pose.Editing
obviously i changed the settings to black and white, but also adjusted shadow etc using Light RoomIn my camera bag
Whatever i think i can carry. I have now upgraded to the Nikon D9000, I have 2 bodies so i can have a different lenses, my favorite is a Macro which i always take out.Feedback
