Behind The Lens

Location

On top of a mountain, Skyline Trail is a 3 mile back trail located near Cooper Landing, Alaska that features a great forest setting.

Time

I can’t recall the exact time of day I do remember it was sometime in July. My Sister and I decided like most days to go hiking on a whim. I was not prepared for such a hike it took atleast 6 hours to reach the top.

Lighting

I wanted to capture the moment of us finally reaching the top of the mountain together. I tried my best to ensure the camera was we angled just the right way to capture the right amount of light

Equipment

I can’t recall the exact camera it was a GE something? This is as shot a few years ago the information is blurry

Inspiration

I wanted to capture my sister and finally reaching the top of the mountain. I wanted to capture our journey together coming to a end and us thinking about how far we have come.

Editing

Blurred the edges a bit with photoshop to help focus the emotion of the picture

In my camera bag

Extra batteries!

Feedback

Take lots of shots until you get the perfect one, one picture isn’t enough!
