Location
I took this photo on a small near my hometown of Tower, MN just before sunset as the skies were clearing after a stormy day.Time
This was taken near sunset I believe this was early spring of 2016Lighting
I purposely shot this photo dark in that I aimed down I liked the deep almost chocolate caramel colors that were showing and wanted that to be my focus.Equipment
This was taken with a Canon 700D no Tripod and just the kit lens 18-55mm lensInspiration
I like the many sunsets we see in Minnesota and the variety of colors in the sky. What inspired me on this one was the Blue sky trying to show thru as the darkness closed in on the day.Editing
No post processing in this other then just Alittle lightening of shadows so the sky colors showed more.In my camera bag
My new equipment is a Canon 6D with 24-105mm lens I also carry a 300mm telephoto lens alongFeedback
Don't think of sunset shots or sunrise shots as just peak hours or golden moments interesting shots can be taken if you stay later and watch even the ending or beginning. Also watch for weather changes that might cause dramatic clouds or colors.
