Thank you, it took about 1/2 hr to capture the right tail lights, it ended up to be a paneled van. Besides the standard image adjustments, no special filter was used, just a long exposure.

Location
Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Laurel Creek Rd, on the way to Cades Cove on the western end.Time
Early morning, 8-10 am. Soft light filter by the national park's trees.Lighting
The day was cloudy so many cars had their light on.Equipment
Canon 7D, Tamron 28-75mm, tripod, remote trigger.Inspiration
I have seen trail light images before, most are urban landscapes, as we drove though the GSMNP we needed to turn on our lights as we drove though several tunnels, giving to the idea for this image.Editing
General adjustments in Lightroom, crop for wide look, flipped to have the lights go left to right. Dodge & burn to balance general lighting. In my camera bag
At this time I carried the Canon 7D, Canon prime 50, 100 & 400mm. Tamron zoom lens 10-24, 28-75 & 70-300mm lens. I am currently moving into Sony with the a7III, Sony 24-104mm G f/4, 50mm f/1.8 and the Megabones Canon EF to Sony E adaptor to enable using my EF lens until sold. Also have Induro fiber tripods & P system filters and remote triggers (both wired and wireless).Feedback
Patience, took me about 30 min to find cars with their lights on as they drove by. The best one is a van with the tall tail lights. Adjust exposer to give a long exposure (5 seconds) to allow the car to move though the image. Use 30mm on lens, f/25, ISO 100 for 5 sec.
