Location
This was taken at cape Sounion.Time
It was shot, just before sunset at the end of May.Lighting
The photo was taken outdoors, so the only available light used came from the sun.Equipment
Nikon D3100, 18-55mm lensInspiration
I was happily surprised when I saw this woman dressed in ancient greek clothes. She was smiling and talking to anyone who approached her. We asked if there was any special reason she was wearing this outfit and she said that she wanted to pass the message of pacifism to the whole world by visiting their landmarks.Editing
It was post processed on lightroom. I wanted the final result to emphasize on her face and the fine serenity she was surrounded. The temple of Poseidon was the perfect background which added elegance and excellence and helped me decide to choose the black and white tone.In my camera bag
My nikkor 35mm, 1.8g, my tripod and my ND filter because the sun in Greece is really powerful!Feedback
When you are photographing a landmark observe the other people who are there as well. You might find some interesting personalities and hear their personal stories and feelings about the monument. Approach them with confidence and a smile on your face. You might be surprised by the end of the day...
