IJO TEMPLE

Called Ijo Temple, as it is located on a hill called Mount Ijo at an altitude of 375 m above sea level. This temple occupies a hillside, so the spatial contour there. If we go to the east, which means that the backward, upward, then we are heading toward the center of the temple. This pattern is unique Ijo Temple, because temples around Prambanan generally centered in the middle.
Was first discovered by adminstratur of Sorogedug sugar factory (PG. Sorogedug), H.E. Doorepaal in 1886. On this site ever found a variety of objects, such as gold rings, gold coins inscribed, grains, and objects of daily necessities such as darpana (stalk mirrors), pottery, and Chinese ceramics.
