Behind The Lens

Location

This dawn shot was taken across Inya Lake in central Yanon Myanmar.

Time

Taken at dawn which is the only time there is a feeling g of peace here usually busselin with couples, families and many exercising.

Lighting

The lighting was amazing due to pollution you get an amazing almost spiritual haze when coupled with the dawn sunrise gives stunning colours.

Equipment

This shot was taken with my now old pentax 1ist with a stock standard lense while leaning on hubby's shoulder for support.

Inspiration

I love the serenity of dawn so try and capture this when and were ever we travel.

Editing

Apart from removing a couple of sensor spots ( my camera so needed a clean)

In my camera bag

These days I'm still using my lil Sony Nex6 for travel as its so light and easy to pack. Along with a small zoom and monopod it's serves me well.

Feedback

Myanmar offers such amazing opportunities for photos but the people are shy and can be wary of the camera as in many cultures so please be sensitive to this. Polity ask permission and be discrete. Show them the photo after your finished. Please don't use flashes etc in temples and their places of worship which they find offence.
