Location
United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO.Time
It was approximately Mid morning when i took the shot.Lighting
The day was somewhat overcast so itbgave the chapel some good light when taking the photoEquipment
At that time I was using a Sony Dynax 7D with a Tamron 35-150mmInspiration
I have always admired the architecture of this building and since I was asked to photograph the chaplins wedding I spent some time scouting photo locations around the area. I wanted to capture the detail and sheer genious of this beautiful church.Editing
I did a little post processing using photoshop such as, deepening colors and shappening the photo to amplify the detail. In my camera bag
I usually carry Sony A77, Sony DT 16-50 lense, Sony G Master 70-200 F2.8, and Tameron 35-150mmFeedback
I find it important to choose the focal point wisely of any potential image and focus on that to draw in the viewers eye. Rule of thirds works well for this as seen in this photo, the lines in this picture grabs the eyes and makes them follow to the focal point showing all the details along the way.
