Rafflesia, a parasitic plant in the jungles of Southeast Asia, has the largest flower of any flowering plant in the world, growing to nearly 40" in diameter and weighing up to 22 pounds. This one, a mere 32", was found in Gunung Gading National Park in Sarawak, Malasia. Also known as the 'corpse flower', it attracts pollinators with it's odor of rotting meat.
