Lightning is fun to try to shoot but always remember to be safe.Equipment

I wanted to shoot a storm in the badlands. In order to get to a place with a view and a storm we did have to do a little storm tracking. Luckily we were able to get to this spot as the storm rolled in. I set up the tripod and let the shutter click until the weather became dangerous and we crawled back off the cliff.Editing

Understand that nature is a beast and it doesn't care about you. Respect the environment and educate yourself before attempting to shoot in the elements. If you are smart about it you can get the shot, but do not thing you are invincible.
