At the banks of the river Ichhamoti, one finds rows of street coconut vendors crowded by scores of tourists to taste the most sweetest coconut water I have ever had before. A vendor like this one would open up the coconut for you and put a straw inside and you can enjoy the very sweet taste as you gaze out to the distant Bangladesh border at the other side of the Ichhamoti river. If you like, the street vendor would open up the coconut for you to enjoy the sweet soft coconut "flesh". You would pay the street vendor 17p in English money before you move along.
