The Oxford house stephenville tx....its now located on the grounds of the stephenville historical house museum.built by judge w.j. oxford in the late 1890's in the queen Anne style.threatened with destruction because of it condition was donated to the museum.with help of the community and funds raised they moved the entire home in 11 pieces to its new location and restored it.its now open to the public and serves as many town events like children programs and weddings as well as other events.its the largest home in this town of its style.this is only the front view it can be seen on line with photos of the full home which is huge .as well as several photos taken over the yrs of the home its very cool to read about it story online ..look it up its a great story...
