Behind The Lens

Location

My photo was taken at the train depot in Schriever Louisiana where my father worked before he retired.

Time

This was taken at high noon

Lighting

The natural light was perfect on this day.

Equipment

Nikon D80

Inspiration

My father was a brakeman for southern Pacific Railroad for many years. This particular day was my birthday, two months after he passed away. I was drawn to this spot to be closer to him. The t-shirt, handkerchief and keys are his. It was on this day I felt, my journey begins.

Editing

To give it an older type look I used the photo editing on my Mac

It was shot with a Nikon D80
