Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at the San Antonio Zoo, in the spring of 2012. Every year the Egrets and a few Blue Herons take over the Zoo during their nesting Season.

Time

It was about 11:30 am when I took this shot.

Lighting

It was a bright sunny day.

Equipment

The shot was take with my old Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT with EF 70-300 mm Lens. As it was a bright sunny day so no flash was required. Camera was hand held.

Inspiration

This nest offered the best view of the hatchlings.

Editing

The only Post work done was to adjust the exposure to compensate for the bright sun light and high ISO.

In my camera bag

Canon 60D with a EF 24-135mm and EF 50mm Lens and Speedlite.
