Wow, thank you!!! This girl, who happens to be my daughter's best friend, is a joy to photograph and those eyes are just amazing and they really are that blue. I was having a "fun" shoot that day. I tend to "see" the image I want to create in my mind before I do it, so I knew exactly what I wanted to do on this photo! :)

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at a friend's back yard in the Poconos.

Time

This was July 4th around 7pm

Lighting

Natural light. Sun was getting ready to start setting.

Equipment

I used my Canon camera with my 50mm lens. Hand held.

Inspiration

I was just playing around with my camera, taking shots of the beautiful landscape. I decided to use my daughter's best friend for a test shot. I wanted to see the cool contrast of her eyes with the deep green grass. And then I got a little creative and this was the result.

Editing

I always work with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. I did some curve editing, some tweaks here and there, not much. This was a long time ago, so I can't remember the specs

Canon body, lens kit, 50mm, 85mm, 24-105mm, speedlite 580ex ii
