Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken from the living room in my house in jakarta

Time

The photo was taken at night around 19.00 pm

Lighting

for lighting, I use the flash reflected into a box that I lined with white cardboard, the aim is to produce a flash effect that is not too hard to object.

Equipment

I'm using Nikon D 5100, Yongnuo YN 460 flash, Nikkor 18 - 55 mm lens and Takara Tripod.

Inspiration

I love the photo with dark background and the object are isolated, and this is my first experiment with my pet as an object.

Editing

I do a little improvement to the color and the contrast with photoshop

In my camera bag

I usually always bring 3 pieces of lenses are used for a variety of conditions and the lens are Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 VC USD for my wildlife photo, Tamron 90 f 2,8 mm for macro photo and Tokina 11 -16 pro dx II for my landscape photography and flash YN 460.

Feedback

This is a photo that is very simple and very easy to do, you just need a flash (or two) and a large box lined with white cardboard inside. Another thing to note is the uneven lighting to avoid over-exposure at some point adjacent to the flash.
