In this city, people are at all times moving. With the rushing pace and colourful neon lights, yet I feel lost when I am walking along Nathan Road. It is full of glamorous differentiating faces telling lots of ups and downs of the life. What links up the crowd is their indifference. What leave in our minds are the street images, but not a single face. Maybe there are only human resources but not natural resources in Hong Kong. Thus, we are a kind of faceless ingredient on the street.
Traditional photographers would capture the decisive moments by his-her gaze. The light and shadow would have captured the emotions, but not the time and space. The longer exposure time to the light, the blurer the images would be. These images are my expression to Hong Kong.
