Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at my parents house. I found an old ball glove that my dad used to play softball with decades ago. It was pretty beat up and I thought it would make a good content for a photo

Time

It was actually taken a little bit after noon on a summer day.

Lighting

I was new to the DSLR camera and was playing around with some of the ISO and other features. The lighting was actually quiet bright outside.

Equipment

I used a Sony Alpha A100

Inspiration

I had seen another photo that was a close up of a baseball. So I thought I would to recreate something similar.

Editing

I only did some basic lighting corrections for balance using Photoshop.

In my camera bag

I have recently upgraded to a Canon T6

Feedback

Just be creative. Find a good subject matter and location. Angles also help. I prefer to shoot objects from a different viewpoint that the normal human eye.
