this photo definately comes under the favourite category for the very simple reason that you will be very priviledged to experience the saving of a bee from the water more than once in your life, my nephew get credit for saving it and we blew him dry and he wandered from my finger to my head and never once did i fell the threat you would expect! eventually he flew off and survived. an awesome once in a lifetime experience.

Wow what an amazing shot ^ one I can truly appreciate. I am allergic & have to carry an Epi-pen just in-case. So I keep my distance. I have never seen a bee so close up. I am amazed at how small and frail their wings look, they just seem so small to let him fly. the detail in the feather/fur/whatever they have is incredible. They really are beautiful when you can det a chance to see one up close but not real...lol Thanks so much for sharing this. A new fav.
